Frequently asked questions
Common questions about CityLink Global. For step-by-step help, see Tips or Support.
-
What is CityLink Global?
CityLink Global (快连全球) is a network utility app operated by CityLink Global Technology Limited. It provides connectivity for cross-border work, online collaboration, and team connectivity. Product site: speedcn.citylink.club.
-
How do I get the Android beta build?
Download the direct Android beta APK from the official Download page. The direct package is
com.citylink.globalvpn.direct; the Google Play build is separate and is not hosted there. -
Do I need to sign in?
Yes. Connectivity, membership, and device features all require a signed-in account in the app — you can't establish a connection or view the node list while signed out. Use the email you registered with, and reset your password with an email code if you've forgotten it.
-
What is a dedicated IP option?
A dedicated IP option can help maintain a more consistent connection environment for long-running platform login and cross-border work, such as daily sign-ins to the same dashboard or accounts with stricter risk controls. It does not mean verification steps will never appear. CityLink provides network connectivity services and does not promise to change third-party platform rules, risk controls, or security mechanisms.
-
Shared vs dedicated connectivity — when to choose?
Shared connectivity fits light, everyday use. Personal or team dedicated connectivity fits long-term remote work, customer support operations, or teams that need multi-device team connectivity. See Pricing for plan types.
-
Which plan fits customer support teams?
Teams that stay online for messages, tickets, and back-office tools often consult team dedicated connectivity. See Customer support team connectivity.
-
Which plan fits cross-border operations teams?
Operations teams with long-running ad, social, content, or data platform workflows may consult personal or team dedicated connectivity. See Cross-border operations connectivity.
-
Which plan fits remote work?
Remote workers and freelancers who rely on email, meetings, and collaboration tools daily often start with shared connectivity and may consult personal dedicated connectivity for long-term use. See Remote work dedicated connectivity.
-
Connection failed or no internet while connected?
Try reconnecting, switching to a different route, or changing between mobile data and Wi-Fi — most connection issues come from local network conditions and clear up after a retry. Detailed troubleshooting steps are available in Chinese under Tips. Contact Support if it still doesn't connect after a few tries.
-
Where are prices shown?
Shared connectivity is free — sign in to see current available regions and your free allowance. Personal dedicated connectivity has reference pricing for overseas and mainland China routes on the Pricing page. Team dedicated connectivity is quoted per team and isn't listed at a fixed rate.
-
How do I delete my account?
Account deletion is available from account settings in the app. If you have an active subscription, check whether it needs to be cancelled first so a refund isn't affected. See Account deletion for the exact steps, or email support if you run into trouble.
-
How do I contact support?
Email [email protected] with your account email, what went wrong, and roughly when it happened — that helps us diagnose faster. See Support for a ready-made template. Do not send passwords or verification codes.
